At EoTR, we encourage families to make a minimum commitment of a full-year of classes to our program – it takes time to master anything. The bilingual journey is a commitment and we want to ensure that your child receives a quality bilingual education.
LEGAL NOTICE
When you register or participate in any of our programs or classes, you agree to these conditions:
Refunds will not be issued for any classes missed, or if families decide not to return to the program.
If, you are a participant in our program, you agree to release and hold EoTR Foreign Languages for Kids harmless for injury, loss, delay, or any damage and expense incurred by student’s and parent’s to include:
1) any liability or expense, including any court and attorney’s fees, resulting from any injury, loss or any other damage or expense caused by the student’s and parent’s during his/her participation in our program. This indemnity shall survive termination of this contract or final payment hereunder.
2) incident beyond EoTR Foreign Languages for Kid’s control, including but not limited too, acts of God, crimes of violence, acts of war, or government actions and restrictions;
3) occurrences directly or indirectly caused by intentional or negligent acts or omissions by any third party, including but not limited to a member, visitor, employee or agent of the host facility or any other persons at the host location;
If, a parent fails to disclose any known sickness, or conditions your child(ren) have that can affect the safety of other participants of our program, this can result in dismissal from our program with no monetary refund.
These policies are in place to allow us to continue to provide impactful classes at an affordable pricing for our families. For marketing purposes we do post pictures and videos. Upon enrollment in our program, you acknowledge your child’s likeness may be used without prior consent. At EOTR we will never publish a child’s name or personally identifiable information without your express permission.
East of the River Foreign Languages for Kids is a DC 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations. These activities include, but are not limited to, hiring and firing of staff, selection of volunteers and vendors, and provision of services.
