  • My son has attended East of the River Foreign Languages for Kids since it’s inception. Living in Ward 7, my family and I were desperate to find additional language opportunities to supplement our son’s in-school language instruction. We were delighted to find a program that did not require us to add a drive across town to our already jam-packed weekend schedule. While location is a huge benefit, the quality of the program has really been what keeps us coming back. The instructor is wonderful. She is a native speaker and has a phenomenal way of engaging the kids. She is warm, playful, and it is clear she loves teaching. I am confident my son will meet many of our foreign language goals from this program. For us, this program is a much needed asset to this area. The price point is reasonable as the monthly cost is nearly an hourly cost with a personal tutor and the quality of the program is everything we wanted. All in all, this is a fantastic program and we are delighted to have found it.

  • My son had a wonderful time in this class. The instructor, Maria, was warm and engaging. Her teaching experience was evident as she was able to keep the kids focused, learning and having fun. No easy feat! I’m looking forward to attending more classes in the near future.

  • This organization is doing a fantastic job addressing and filing the gap of language immersion programs in Wards 7 & 8. The programing is engaging and interactive. My daughter loves it. The Spanish teacher is amazing and connects well with the students. We look forward to the events. Check them out. You won't be disappointed.
